Blakjak Presents ‘Ooh Yeah’ off the ‘Strategy EP’
So today we have the new single from Blakjak – ‘Ooh Yeah’. This single is from his EP – ‘Stategy’ which is out now.
The minute I got the video URL I put this single on loud. The beat immediately grabs you and pulls you in. I love the fact that they repeat ‘Ooh Yeah’ in the background as it keeps the listener engaged and it sounds perfect. I would love to know who created the beat as the percussion in the background sounds amazing. This song is built for the club or anywhere that people are partying and having a good time. I find the beat and melody infectious. The song starts out a bit slow and then explodes into the vocals and just a musical buffet that sounds amazing.
I will admit I have some trouble grasping the lyrics but Blakjak is talking about his love interest for sure and it sounds great. He really lets the listener into his world and his love life. It is definitely content that all men who love a beautiful woman can relate to and grasp.
Blakjak has incredible vocal abilities. He rhymes fast but it is very articulate and he stays on beat the whole song. It is as though this beat was made for him to sing over. After listening to this song about 10 times it is stuck in my head and will be a new addition to my playlist for sure. I also enjoyed how the song slows down towards the end and it leaves the listener wanting more.
Overall this song is a hit and I am excited to hear more from Blakjak. He is an artist that all should be paying attention too as I see this song as just the first of many hits for Blakjak. I will have the sound of ‘Ooh Yeah’ in my head all weekend and that is a good thing – well done!
