Ruben Studdard has teamed up with a nationwide program called Be Sickle Smart, which looks to create awareness and educate people about sickle cell. The American Idol winner has recorded a song titled “I’m A Fighter” and will perform on the Empowerment Days tour where concert-goers can receive an iron-overload education presentation and free iron-overload screenings.
