A.D.2020 Release Animated Video for Single “Digital Overload” from their “Lockdown Diaries” Album
Continuing with the animated versions of themselves first introduced in their August 2021 video for “Why Can’t We Be Friends?,” “Digital Overload” is a full length animated video featuring the musicians of A.D.2020 reacting to the influence of technology in all of our lives. “The song allows us to poke fun at ourselves and also our addictions to technology that we are all guilty of abusing”says Todd Thanhauser.
He continues, “The song was written last year during the pandemic and was inspired by an interaction I had with a phone app and a refrigerator and it got me thinking that maybe there is something else I should be doing besides waiting on text messages from my refrigerator to tell me the milk is spoiled? Maybe we all need to take time to catch our breath and unwind?”
The Districts Announce New Album ‘Great American Painting’ Out 2/4/22 (Fat Possum), Share First Single/Video “I Want to Feel it All”
“‘I Want To Feel It All’ is about feeling everything possible all at once, and emotional fireworks and loving the universe and everyone in it. But it also saves room for being about death and the darkness underlying all existence, and forgiveness and pain and acceptance,” explains vocalist/guitarist Rob Grote. “The video takes place in the twilit Pennsylvania hills, where we perform with fireworks in the ever fleeting present this song seeks to grasp. The surreal undertone to the video represents the detached dreamlike world this song lives in, while the unspoiled American landscape is a symbol of idealism and the natural mystery that inspires our work.”

NITE Cover Grunge Rock Icons Alice in Chains in their New Song “Would?”
Dallas, TX based Post-Punk/Electronic Rock artists NITE release the music video for the cover of “Would?”
Originally written by the legendary Grunge band Alice in Chains, NITE put their spin on the iconic song “Would?”. Recalling how Layne Stanley and Jerry Cantrell’s vocals sounded like tortured souls crying out to me from a different dimension, NITE were overwhelmed by how visceral and brutally honest it felt. Like many in 2020, they felt trapped, and battled with their fears of being controlled by circumstances. Myles Mendes explains further..
KIM PETRAS Releases “Future Starts Now” Music Video
“The ‘Future Starts Now’ video is inspired by going into the unknown, having the world change and break under you, and celebrating that change and the future after what feels like the end of the world,” says Kim. “I was very into this amazing anime called Japan Sinks and, since I was so inspired by Europe when making my new music, I thought ‘There’s no better way to do this music video than to have the Eiffel Tower sink.’ When I think of Europe, the first thing I think about is the Eiffel Tower. It’s a metaphor for life: things are going to change whether you want them to or not and you can either roll with it and make the best out of it or let it drown you. The pandemic changed the world in bad ways but good ways too. It’s about not letting life sink you and to have fun and celebrate the world – whatever it becomes.”
Skope Magazine x Keep It A Secret (alt rock)
“‘Middle with my Thumbs Up’ is a dichotic look back on the melancholy of lost love. Although seemingly separate emotions, anger and sadness are often a self-destructive loop that many people experience from heartbreak in all its forms. This song incorporates both intimate, almost whispered vocals and cathartic gritty yells to illustrate these feelings.”
Cots Explores The Language Of Physics In “Our Breath” 3D Animation Video
Disturbing Body, the intimate debut album by Cots, paints a celestial portrait of lost love and consequence. “Evoking strong memories of Feist’s Let It Die-era softness,” CBC Music remarked that “Disturbing Body feels like a meditation on loneliness and the complexities of the heart … a secret told from Cots to you only.” The solo project of Montreal/Guelph composer, singer, and guitarist Steph Yates blends elements of bossa nova, folk, jazz, and classical against a cosmic backdrop – connecting earthbound romance to the gravitational pull of planets.

Kao Wonder Reveals Dance-Pop Release “Safe Space”
Love and Music are the tools used when our Hero, Raphel ‘Kao Wonder’ Faison, engages with the world to conquer hearts and inspire hope whenever he touches a stage. Hailing from the rough but authentic rough parts of Brooklyn, New York City, Käo got the calling at a very young age following under his Mother and Father’s shadow. He would hear his Mom sing beautiful tunes while doing chores around the house, and Dad was an instrumentalist (playing tuba) and DJ/MC for local but notarized Hip Hop Group Oddessy Disco. Finding his natural dance grooves by watching music videos of iconic Michael and Janet Jackson, Aaliyah, Prince , and Chris Brown, Käo also had a fascination with his radio, jamming and singing alongside it as if he himself was singing mostly during the afternoon and even in the late nights. He began to take the next steps of Showmanship in middle school, majoring in Performing Arts.
