Forever Yours
I wrote “Forever Yours” about that feeling you get when you meet your soulmate – you just know that what you have with them is going to last. This is one of the first happy songs that I’ve written, complete with a soft, jazzy and intimate atmosphere.

Hear Michael Seyer’s newest single, “Modern Loneliness” – A Good Fool is out September 24th and fans can catch him on tour with Men I Trust all Fall
“I wrote this song during a weird time: around September of 2020. The world felt like it was caving in on itself and at the surface of it all, I always felt this ambiguous and intense feeling of loneliness. It’s a theme I always come back to and I don’t know why I keep writing about loneliness but hopefully making music about the feeling gives me a better understanding of it or at least an exercise in sanity in what feels like an increasingly isolated world.”

On the inspiration behind “Head Gonna Hurt” Dorsey shares, “You know the moment you decide you’re gonna have the drink that’ll put you over the edge for the night? The drink that, once it’s drunk, you’re in for a wicked hangover the next day? There’s a moment like that in love, when you decide you’re all in, even though you know it’s probably not gonna end well. I wrote this when I was driving out to meet someone I was newly dating and I thought to myself, ‘My head is gonna hurt so bad after this.’ And I went ahead and fell in love anyway.”
