Michael Franti was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday after being hospitalized with what doctors called one of the worst ruptured appendixes they have ever seen. Franti was forced to cancel four more concerts. He is now not slated to return to the road until his August 6th performance in Biloxi, Mississippi for The Saturday Night Rebel Rockers Traveling Circus & Medicine Show Tour that he is doing with Counting Crows and Augustana.
