Billboard.com reports that in London on Tuesday night, Whitney Houston made a show-stopping appearance at the world premiere of her new album, I Look to You. The singer told the invited international media that she was “ready to buy an island home and retire” however Sony Music exec Clive Davis talked her out of it. Houston described the project as “a labor of love” and she hopes it will stay with her fans for a lifetime. I Look to You drops on September 1st.
