SASAMI Shares New Track “Mess”
In March 2019, Los Angeles songwriter and multi-instrumentalist SASAMI released her self-titled debut album. Its ten tautly melodic rock tracks originated as a string of demos recorded straight to her iPad while on tour, and described the surprising ways that one’s relationships—with lovers, with friends, with oneself—can shift in a single year.

The White Buffalo, real name Jake Smith, is offering fans a premium one-time-only live stream concert event on Sunday, April 5 at 12pm PST/3pm EST. Coming on the heels of worldwide postponements and cancellations of nearly all large gatherings due to concerns over the spread of coronavirus, including three of Smith’s own concerts in California, this live stream will be the first opportunity for fans of The White Buffalo to hear material from his forthcoming Shooter Jennings-produced album, On The Widow’s Walk, out April 17 on Snakefarm Records.

New York electronic artist Photay released a surprise ambient LP, ‘On Hold’ today. 100% of the proceeds will go to Food Bank for NYC to help with the COVID-19 pandemic response. The album is comprised of “on hold” music and and is a series of pieces derived from a process that Photay recorded “on hold” or “call waiting” music through the telephone and then further manipulated, re-arranged and slowed down.
CODE ORANGE LIVESTREAM RECORD RELEASE SHOW FROM EMPTY VENUE
GRAMMY nominated band Code Orange livestreamed their performance to an empty Roxian Theatre in Pittsburgh, PA via Twitch this past Saturday, March 14th. The performance was planned as their record release show for their acclaimed new LP UNDERNEATH, which arrived this past Friday, March 13th, before the venue postponed all of its scheduled shows in March due to coronavirus concerns. Broadcasting live on Twitch, the revolutionary hour-long stream titled, “THE LAST ONES LEFT: IN FEAR OF THE END,” saw the band delivering a powerful performance interspersed with cinematic imagery to nearly 13,000 concurrent viewers, with it quickly trending Top 15 on Twitter in the United States.

With over 500 musician inquiries last week, Gibson Gives is working to make musicians affected whole again by replacing a guitar (any brand) for all musicians that were affected by the Tennessee storms. An uncomfortably accurate reflection of a world in chaos, PATHOGENS exists solely to serve as an unflinching reminder of the negative influences of the human species inhabiting this planet. Taking early Swans influences to an even more bleak and excruciating extreme, A. D. Carter blends synth distortion, primal mechanical rhythms, profoundly disturbing samples, and nightmarish agonized vocalizations to create death industrial doom akin to its influences, yet unique and singular.

Dumbowax is a garage punk duo from Porto, Portugal, formed in 2018 by Pedro Pezinho (bass) and Zez Vaz (drums). They have been making their way in the local rock scene and opening music festivals. in 2019 they released their first EP, “No Safeword”. The duo dedicates the same amount of energy on their music, live shows and producing their own music videos (“BATS!” and “Faster”).
