Tower’s journey ended some time ago but MV and PG Six found new paths—Matt mostly around the MV & EE tree and Pat’s solo songwriter sojourns.

Often accompanied by instrumentalist Wandering Lake, stripped down melodies float like a cloud atop Kupillas’ subtle drones, simple guitar licks, and clean drums.

Austrian indie-pop songwriter Maria Neckam shares powerful new ballad, “She’s Sensitive”

Maria started writing “She’s Sensitive” in the middle of an intense bout of writer’s block. As a way to get herself going, she based this song on the character of a book she was reading at the time… little did she know that soon after, she’d have plenty of material to write about. After the first verse was done, her partner (a musician himself) returned home from his tour and acted awfully strange. This had been an issue for a while, but it seemed like it had gotten worse. After a few days of whirlwind and confusion, during which the second verse was born, she found out that he had a serious opioid addiction. At the time she hadn’t been as aware of this issue that is now an epidemic in this country, so it was a shock and felt like a betrayal they couldn’t recover from – the secrets and the lies, most of all.
