The first video from Dave Matthews Band’s new album Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King. Directed by Fenton Williams and Jeff Crane the video features stop-motion animation a la Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer.”
Lead single “Funny The Way It Is” appeared on Rolling Stone’s Hot List and New York Magazine called the track “pure muscle.” The song has been No. 1 at AAA radio for seven straight weeks and is in the Top 20 at the Alternative format. The video for “Funny The Way It Is” received its world premiere on AOL yesterday and it was just added at VH1. It will be featured as an “Artist Spotlight” in the June 20th episode of VH1’s “Top 20 Countdown.”
