The Pussycat Dolls’ lead singer, Nicole Scherzinger, is half-Filipino, so it makes sense that she wants to sing the Philippine national anthem next time boxer Manny Pacquiao gets in the ring. According to the Associated Press, PCD will be performing in the Philippines today and Scherzinger told a local TV station that she’s always been a fan of Pacquiao, arguably the most popular Filipino on the planet. There hasn’t yet been an announcement of who Pacquiao will fight next or who is on tap to sing the anthem at that bout.
