Experimental Manchester producer PEACE_TALKS releases their new single ‘SORE’ in collaboration with futuristic punk vocalist Ivan Moon. A brooding fusion of somber and noisy lo-fi, ‘SORE’ is a raw and reflective mutation that leaves a chaotic breadcrumb trail of self-deprecation, guilt and otherness.
“It’s one of the earliest PEACE_TALKS tracks written. We recorded the vocals hammered at 2am in a dingy Manchester flat a few years back. I’d been messing around with it all day and wanted to show Ivan and convince him to jump on the track. We were both drunk at Big Hands in Manchester, I was swaying and playing it out my phone into his ear upstairs in the smoking area. He nodded and was like ‘Fuck it, lets track it now’. So we went back to the flat and tracked it that night”.
