It wouldn’t be an overstatement to call “Psychedelic Halo” an ethereal experience. This sonic tapestry, woven with intricate instrumental threads of mysticism and euphoria, creates a wonderfully energetic but also wide and airy tone. The mix starts out fairly chaotic, but soon consolidates itself into a frenetic but focused hook. It all results in what’s sonically, an enjoyable and interesting listening experience.

As the music unfolds, layers of instrumentation emerge like ripples in a pond, creating a rich and immersive experience. The instrumentation, characterized by dreamy guitar riffs, pulsating basslines, and transcendental layering on vocals only serves to make things more immersive. While it’s very much unconventional, we found ourselves deeply enraptured listening to the new single.

The vocal delivery in “Psychedelic Halo” is both haunting and soothing, carrying a sense of otherworldly wisdom. Ananda Xenia Shakti’s voice floats effortlessly over the sonic landscape, guiding the listener through the instrumental mix. The harmonies create a sense of balance that mirrors the delicate dance between the material and the spiritual. It all leads to a crescendo that feels liberating as it slowly breaks down.
