The record kicks off with “Grim Reaper” that offers up rockin’ chords and a harsh truth that we are all mortals on this earth. The reality here is that you can’t escape the “Grim Reaper”, but Rhett is able to provide a stellar performance that will leave you on the edge of your seat. It’s time to “Go To Hell” figuratively where hard-rockin’ riffs are hitting your eardrums. “Go To Hell” never sounded so good thanks in big part to Rhett’s prowess as a music artist and his ability to connect with the audience. I say rock ON forever Rhett and would never say “Go To Hell”, but in this sense it works brilliantly. The EP ends with a bonus track titled “Better Than Chocolate (A Meditative Version)” that takes one on an exotic journey through space & time in a world where you are, in fact, “Better Than Chocolate”.
Rhett May is responsible for all music and lyrics on ‘Rock and Roll Emotions Part One’ and I am highly impressed with his overall efforts on this project. I am so proud of Rhett May’s accomplishments to this point and honored that I could be even a small part of Rhett’s musical journey thus far. ‘Rock and Roll Emotions Part One’ includes thoughtful, creative and relevant material that will resonate with listeners worldwide.
