Nashville-based singer songwriter Emily Hackett has released the stunning stop-motion visual for her brutally honest new single “Handle,” available to stream now on Vevo/Youtube. Filmed by Emily’s husband Mikey Reaves while in quarantine, the visual was directed, illustrated and edited by her good friend and collaborator Bo Rinehart (formerly Needtobreathe) along with Jacob Stillman, who are in the early stages of launching a creative/branding company, A Yosemity Collaboration.

“We printed out 7 frames for every second of the video onto card-stock,” explained Bo. “In all, I hand painted over 1500 frames with acrylic and pastels. Each frame was then photographed with an iPhone and inserted back into the video. We are super proud of this incredibly unique and tedious project that was birthed out of the necessity to work within the confines of social distancing.”
