Calgary based DJ and producer, Stickybuds, is back on Westwood Recordings, this time he has teamed up with vocalist Richard Kim (from Malente fame), on “Crooked Politicians,” out today.
Never one to shy away from combining music with activism, Stickybuds shines a light on the influence of lobbyists and big money in politics while continuing to push the boundaries of electronic funk music in the official music video for “Crooked Politicians.” Produced by Theo Robinson aka sevenmilligram aka Think [Art x Design x Video], the visual counterpart to the single leaves no doubts on the ethos of Stickybuds’ message, putting international politicians on full blast in the four-minute animation.
