David Vertesi is a Vancouver (Canada) based multi-genre artist – he is 1/3 of indie-pop trio Hey Ocean! and has collaborated with Shad K, Jose Miguel Contreras (By Divine Right) and Hannah Georgas. “Forever Young” comes from his forthcoming album, Sad Dad Cruise Ship, dropping April 22, 2016. “This song is about waking up from the false sense of forever. Partly inspired by getting older, partly by this moment in history. The world seems to only now be cluing in that a golden age can only last so long. Whether with individuals, society, or our environment it feels like there’s a newfound awareness that forever may not have been as long as we thought.”
