Imagine this – a beautiful young girl embarks on a busking tour of America. She plays wherever she stays and earns enough to move from town to town. She surfs, snowboards, skates, does sports to the extreme. She collects feathers, precious stones and dream catchers on her travels, stopping at festivals, sets out her stall making fine jewellery from these things and playing her music. The jewellery starts to sell; it’s popular; so is her music … this is Just Millie.

Performing since the age of 13, Just Millie has an enchanting voice. At just 5ft 1 inch tall she packs a punch with her acoustic guitar, harmony looping pedals and an electronic kick drum. Now 20 and back in her home on the South Coast her debut single ‘Spanner In The Works’ charted at No.13 in the iTunes Singer/Songwriter listings, rubbing shoulders with hits from those she admires; George Ezra, Ben Howard and Ed Sheeran. Her influences also include Bon Iver & Kate Nash. A regular performer for Taking The Piste in the French Alps, Millie is a self-confessed adrenaline junkie, with a penchant for vintage clothes. Her fabulous feather jewellery designs are growing in popularity and a regular fixture at festivals in the US & UK. She has supported Loveable Rogues, Misty Miller & Tom Baxter on tour. Millie has also co-written with Dan Brown (Massive Attack), Dan Smith (The Noisettes) and Nina Schofield and has been named a Guardian One to Watch artist.
