Written and recorded in Los Angeles CA and citing Marvin Gaye’s Here, My Dear as a key influence, Samo uses his own distinct language to tell a vivid, personal narrative. Lush synth work, jagged percussion, and hauntingly soulful samples bring us into his autobiographical account of a relationship slowly breaking down and falling apart. The video for the powerful first single, “Baby Don’t Stop” (below), is the first installment of a conceptual trilogy directed by Daniel Pappas. “Baby Don’t Stop” is also also made available as an instant grat with the pre-order of the album.
