Dallas, TX’s Valise is pleased to share their cinematic endeavor for their latest single, “Don’t Forget Me.” The indie-pop track will be available on Young Bloomer, their debut full-length on February 24, 2015. The collection of eleven songs is the collaborative process of over eighteen weeks recording at The Vanguard Room in Lakeland, FL with Matt Wilbur.
“The ‘Don’t Forget Me’ video is basically a grown up game of telephone – where a whisper gets passed around a circle in hopes that it comes back accurately to the first person,” explains guitarist Jared Travis. “When we applied that idea to relationships, we got this poignant reminder of how much people can hurt and change each other when they’re together, and how that damage becomes baggage in their next relationship. Add in a dash of “what goes around, comes around” and the idea was pretty much set.”
