Harnessing the momentum from being named one of Vibe’s “Top Rising DJs of 2014”, SoCal-based electro house producer Henry Fong has readied his first official release of the year, the Stand Up EP, to go public February 11th via OWSLA. Following several Beatport Top 10 singles, the producer shows no signs of slowing down and with this release he goes for the throat with another big-room banger. “Stand Up” unloads an audio assault of electro house replete an infectious snare/clap combo the punctuates a playful horn section. For Fong, bass is a living, breathing beast and he demonstrates that it works best pummeling a dance floor. The package includes three remixes: a thumping take from Destructo, whose embrace of the G-House wave is awesomely evident, an exceptional interpretation from DallasK, and a NOLA Bounce-inspired, twerk-ready, double-drop reworking from Milo & Otis that has the potential to incite a riot.
