Emcee, educator, activist, and Pan-African are just some of the titles that describe the artist Asheru. Perhaps best known today for writing and performing the theme song to the highly rated Boondocks on Adult Swim, today, Asheru is excited to announce a project that he says he is most proud of: Sleepless in Soweto, a 13 track album that was recorded while traveling between his home in DC and South Africa.
