“Why play a real show when there’s no evidence of it ever happening,” asks singer/guitarist JAMIE WOOLFORD of his decision to debut his solo album A Framed Life In Charming Light across the globe on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. “I guess it will be sort of similar to the TV show Live from Abbey Road,” Woolford describes. “It’s a live band performance from a recording studio, simple as that.” The hour-long record release show will kick off at 9pm EST and video stream live worldwide from Stem Recording on StageIt. “I’ve assembled some really great musicians for this, so I have high hopes for the performance and the sound,” he adds. His backing band includes special guests Stephen Egerton (Descendents/ALL), Ryan Seaman (Falling In Reverse), Chris Serafini (The Stereo), Sam Hardwig (Dagg Nabbit Stubbs), Rob Krohler (Ladylike), Jason Sukut (Domo), and Ree Boado (Dearspeak). “At the risk of embarrassing myself, having Stephen agree to play my show kind of blows my mind and I think 16-year old Jamie would be pretty impressed with me right now,” exclaims Woolford.
Admission for the online concert is only $5 and 25% of the proceeds are being donated to The Polaris Project; an organization aimed at ending human trafficking. In addition, Woolford is also donating a portion of the proceeds from album sales. Tickets can be purchased here:
