Ned Evett, Treehouse

Ned Evett is a monster on the guitar. His latest release, “Treehouse” is powerful and provocative. For those about to rock, be sure to grab this CD before you commence. He used to tour with Joe Satriani as his opening act, that alone is proof of his abilities, but don’t take it from me, listen for yourself.

Evett oozes talent and has spilled everything he’s got into this CD. It has potent lyrical content, which he has masterfully told his story through what feels like your own eyes. He definitely has a knack for capturing those universal feelings which makes the music seem like it was written only for me. I love that!

Musically, the production is masterfully imprinted in history. This CD is one of those that will withstand the test of time. There are moments he plays and you are taken back to the days of Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Then there are soft bright serenades that make you want to melt into another world. A perfect example of that softness is the song, “Mars River Delta 2128”. My personal favorite.

I am so taken by this music I find myself a tad bit speechless. That is a rarity for me. Every song stands on it own creating a flawless compilation. I cannot get enough and I feel sorry for anyone who has not heard it yet.
