TAYLOR SWIFT SEEN WITH GLEE STAR
According to HollywoodLife.com, Taylor Swift attended an L-A Kings NHL hockey game with Glee star Chord Overstreet last Tuesday. Overstreet plays “Sam Evans” on the award winning show and has also made an appearance on No Ordinary Family and iCarly. Ironically, Taylor also attended an NHL game in L-A with Taylor Lautner in October of 2009.
TAYLOR SWIFT NEEDS TO THICKEN UP
Despite constantly being judged in the spotlight, Taylor Swift says her skin hasn’t thickened any with her fame. She considers herself strong and confident, but she doesn’t take things lightly when someone insults her. She told the website PopSugar.com she doesn’t want her openness in songs to come across as being weak. She’s said, “Putting on a brave face doesn’t make you a brave person. That’s why everyone in my life knows everything I’m going through. People need to realize being open isn’t the same as being weak.”

GAGA TO BE GODMOTHER TO ELTON’S SON?
Could Lady Gaga be the Godmother to Elton John’s son? In a recent interview with Macleans.ca, Elton’s partner, David Furnish, was asked if Gaga was named Godmother to their son, Zachary, to which he replied that things haven’t been “publically confirmed,” but that the interviewer’s sources are “very good,” and that a statement will come later on. Sounds like it may be true! We’ll keep you posted.
IT’S PAT FROM TRAIN’S BIRTHDAY!
Today, Pat Monahan turns 42 years old. The singer, along with his band Train, have had many hits during their almost 20 year long career, but the two biggest are arguably “Drops of Jupiter” and “Hey, Soul Sister.” So Pat told us that perhaps it’s fitting that they’ve been closing out their shows with a medley of both (See Related Cut #3). MJ’S CHILDREN FOLLOW IN HIS FOOTSTEPS
Similar to their dad, who helped people in need with his Heal the World Foundation, Michael Jackson’s three children, 14-year-old Prince Michael, 12-year-old Paris and eight-year-old Blanket, recently volunteered at a organization in Los Angeles, helping the homeless. SingersRoom.com reports their grandmother said that they are doing “pretty well” with the passing of their beloved father and are very much inspired by MJ’s philanthropic efforts before he died.
