BLACK EYED PEAS PREP NEW ALBUM
The Black Eyed Peas scored one of the biggest albums over the past two years with The E.N.D. The record is still selling over eight-thousand copies a week and has already sold over 2.7-million copies since its release back in June 2009. According to Rap-Up.com, the Peas are preparing their new album, titled The Beginning, which will arrive in November. That effort contains 12 tracks with four songs produced by DJ Ammo, three by will.i.am and two by David Guetta, who also produced their number one hit “I Gotta Feeling.” The Black Eyed Peas will resume their The E.N.D. World Tour in Mexico tomorrow before heading to Brazil for eight shows. The Beginning is due out on November 30th.

WHERE IS GAGA HOUSE SHOPPING?
Lady Gaga is rumored to be buying property in two very different places. Website WWD.com reports that the pop star is contemplating getting a home in the affluent New England area of Martha’s Vineyard, while British paper the Daily Record says that Gaga is looking into purchasing an entire castle in the North of England or Scotland. The paper says that “no expense will be spared in her quest to make this dream come true.” Who says that Gaga can’t buy homes in both places?
JOE JONAS SOLO ALBUM?
E! Online is reporting that Joe Jonas will be following in the footsteps of younger brother Nick, as he plans to release a solo album sometime in 2011. A source at Hollywood Records told the site that Joe is working with “various writers and producers on music,” adding he “wants a more dangerous sound,” like a “sexier, Justin Timberlake” vibe. The solo album is just the latest project on Joe’s schedule, which also includes several TV appearances, among them 90210, and a reported project with Tom Hanks.
JUSTIN BIEBER TO PREMIERE NEW VIDEO
Justin Bieber will premiere his new video for “U Smile” tomorrow. The clip will debut on E! News at 7 PM Eastern and can be viewed at EOnline.com immediately following the East Coast premiere of the clip. “U Smile” is the third single from Bieber’s platinum album, My World 2.0, and is dedicated to Bieber’s fans. The video was directed by Colin Tiley and features Bieber playing a grand piano, dancing and also includes some of the singer’s fans.
TWEET: A few months ago, Bieber took to Twitter to write about the song: “It really is a throwback to the great records I listened to growing up…I wrote it for all my fans who got me here.”
KATY PERRY MEETS JT
Katy Perry may be pretty famous herself, but that doesn’t mean that she can’t still get starstruck. According British paper The Sun, Blunt said that all of his songs are about his first love, who he met 14 years ago. QUINCY JONES PRAISES AMY WINEHOUSE
Amy Winehouse has received some very kind words from a music legend. In an interview with Rolling Stone, producer Quincy Jones said that the embattled singer-songwriter “has a great voice” and that she’s so much more talented then almost anyone else, that it’s like “she’s from another planet.” Winehouse and Mark Ronson teamed up to do a version of the song “It’s My Party” on a tribute album for Jones.
ROCK HALL ANNOUNCES 2011 INDUCTION NOMINEES
Yesterday, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced the nominees for 2011 induction. Among the musicians in the running are Alice Cooper, Bon Jovi, the Beastie Boys, Neil Diamond, the J. Geils Band, Tom Waits, Donovan, LL Cool J and Donna Summer. Now that the nominees have been selected, ballots will be sent to the five-hundred rock hall voters, including previous inductees. Those voters will select who they think should be inducted and the top vote getters will be announced in December. Rumors have been circulating that Taylor Swift will replace Lindsay Lohan in the upcoming movie, One Night With You, but Taylor’s publicist told the CMT Radio Network, “Nothing is planned for this movie.” Taylor is currently promoting her upcoming album, Speak Now, which will be available worldwide on October 25th. According to XXLMag.com, Lil Wayne is looking to pull in impressive first week sales despite being locked up in prison. The rapper’s newly released I Am Not A Human Being EP is projected to sell over 90-thousand copies. The set is only available digitally now but is estimated to move over 225-thousand units when it’s physically released in stores on October 12th. The rapper may be serving time for weapons possession in New York’s Rikers Island, but he can rest easy knowing fans still love and support him!

WYCLEF JEAN RETURNS HOME TO REST
We previously reported Wyclef Jean was hospitalized for stress and fatigue in a New Jersey hospital. A rep for the Fugees member said the musician will remain there for part of the week; however his publicist announced that he’s already returned home to “recuperate,” adding that he “will be back to work in about a week, and until then the family requests that he be allowed to genuinely rest.” The news comes after Jean was not permitted to run for president of Haiti due to residency requirements.
Jean family said in a statement, “Wyclef Jean has had an extremely grueling three months – truly an exhausting eight months, since the earthquake when he recommitted himself to our homeland and his passion for our people. He is currently suffering the effects of lack of sleep and stress, global travel, even the endless public eye, and has asked that his fans and supporters bear with him for the next several days as he regains his physical health and stamina.”
NICK CANNON IS PREPARED TO FIGHT EMINEM
According to CeleBuzz.com, Nick Cannon has challenged Eminem to take their feud to the boxing ring at the Joe Louis Arena, which is located in Em’s home city of Detroit. On his New York radio show, the funnyman stated that the fight would finally end the feud over his wife, Mariah Carey. Cannon also tweeted. “I don’t have nothing to lose! If I get beat up no one would be surprised… It will just be more material for my stand up!”
A post on Cannon’s official site reads: “The time has come! Boys talk the talk, but men walk the walk. Nick has laid down the challenge to meet Eminem in the ring. Nick and the rest of the crew on Rollin’ With Nick Cannon think it’s time for the feud to be over once and for all. And to draw Slim Shady out of hiding, Nick has decided to do it all for charity.”
