GAGA BREAKS UP A FIGHT
Lady Gaga doesn’t just perform onstage — she breaks up fights from there too. According to ContactMusic.com, at her show Tuesday night in Washington, D-C, a fight broke out while she was performing her tune “Just Dance.” Gaga halted the music and said, “Stop fighting. Do not fight at this show.” This got cheers from the audience and apparently stopped the tussle. Gaga has a few days off before doing a pair of shows in Philadelphia on Tuesday and Wednesday.
GAGA ANGERS PETA
Lady Gaga has angered PETA. According to Billboard, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are upset that the pop star posed for the cover of Japanese Vogue wearing nothing but raw meat. PETA issued a statement saying, “No matter how beautifully it is presented, flesh from a tortured animal is flesh from a tortured animal.” Read more at Billboard.com.
NEW ALBUM FROM NATASHA BEDINGFIELD

JUSTIN BIEBER A TON OF TWITTER TRAFFIC
Justin Bieber is responsible for three percent of the infrastructure on Twitter, according to Dustin Curtis, a designer for the website. Curtis added that there are racks of servers dedicated to the teen sensation. Bieber has over five-million followers on Twitter and he is often a trending topic on the site. Other stars that get a lot of Twitter traffic include Ashton Kutcher, who famously was the first to have one-million followers, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian. Bieber will perform at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night at 9 on MTV.
KATY PERRY DETHRONES EMINEM ON HOT 100 CHART
Katy Perry scores back-to-back number one songs, as “Teenage Dream” tops the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The last female artist to post successive chart-topping singles was Lady Gaga, who took her first two entries, “Just Dance” and “Poker Face,” to the summit in the first half of 2009. According to Billboard, Perry spent six weeks at number one with her last single, “California Gurls.” Perry’s return to the top ends Eminem’s seven week reign at the summit as “Love the Way You Lie” featuring Rihanna slips to number two.
MILEY’S NEW TATTOO!
A new photo has surfaced showing Miley Cyrus sporting a new tattoo. The singer now has a heart tattooed on her pinky finger on her right hand. It is the third tattoo for the 17-year-old, who also has “Just Breathe” on her chest and “Love” tattooed on her ear.

DISTURBED TOPS ALBUM CHART
Disturbed’s Asylum tops the Billboard album chart selling over 179-thousand copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It marks the rock band’s fourth consecutive chart-topping album, which ties a record set by both Metallica and Dave Matthews Band. The Now 35 compilation comes in at number two, selling over 105-thousand copies. Eminem’s Recovery holds at number three, last week’s number one album, Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream, slips to number four and Fantasia’s Back To Me drops three spots to number five.
WILLOW SMITH DEBUTS
According to Rap-Up.com, Willow Smith has release her first single as she enters the music business. The daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith channels her inner-Rihanna on a song called “Whip My Hair.” It’s unknown if the up-tempo club record is off an upcoming mixtape or studio album. BRUNO MARS DROPS NEW VIDEO
According to Rap-Up.com, Bruno Mars has released the video for “Just the Way You Are,” which served as the lead single from his upcoming debut album, titled Doo-Wops & Hooligans. While the effort won’t land until October 5th, you can watch the Ethan Lader-directed clip via Bruno’s official fansite now. In related news, you can expect the Hawaiian native to perform during the 2010 VMAs, which air live at 9 PM Eastern this Sunday.

We’ve just learned Usher is gearing up to hit the road for what’s being dubbed the OMG tour. To further promote his Raymond v. Lil Wayne is serving a one-year sentence for gun possession charges, however he may have it easier in prison than we think. According to the New York Post, a Rikers prison corrections officer named Latanya Brown is currently under investigation for allegedly giving the rap icon preferential treatment. The female captain is rumored to have allowed Weezy to remain inside his cell instead of going to the yard with other inmates. She’s also being questioned about the significant amount of time she’s spent with him. We’ll keep you posted with more information.

The Goo Goo Dolls’ new album, Something For The Rest of Us, will debut at number seven on next week’s Billboard 200 chart. After unleashing his debut The Adventures Of Bobby Ray, B.o.B. is said to have already begun working on his sophomore effort. RapRadar.com reports the rapper’s manager, B Rich, spilled on Twitter last week that 50 Cent approached the Grand Hustle artist with the idea that they should collaborate soon. In addition, the hip hop rookie is finishing a joint record with Drake that should be out in January. It’s unknown when fans will get to hear Bobby Ray’s forthcoming disc — here’s to hoping we’ll at least get a mixtape soon!
50 CENT TALKS TWITTER
MTV News caught up with 50 Cent to learn more about his new obsession with Twitter. The rapper, who tweeted about lusting after Stacey Dash and taking out the garbage for his grandmother, feels the site is “another place to express yourself in a different way, to entertain.” 50 added, “When other people used it, it was boring because they were trying to be safe, be politically correct. They gave you the presentation they were taught to give you after they were prepped for publicity. What I gave you was some of the things I’ve seen that were entertaining topic-wise – things that made me laugh.”
