GAGA’S ALBUM NOT COMING OUT CHRISTMAS TIME
Lady Gaga was very revealing in her interview with Larry King on Tuesday night, and that included some information about her highly anticipated sophomore album. The pop star said that the effort will not be coming out before Christmas, and that the reason she was being honest was so that her fans “don’t crucify” her later. She also said that one day she indeed does want to have children, but that that day is “very far away,” and that she’s “terrified” it will ruin her creativity.
EVEN LIBRARIANS LOVE GAGA
Everyone is a fan of Lady Gaga these days. Apparently, even a group of librarians from the University of Washington. They put a video up on online of themselves doing a rendition of Lady Gaga’s hit song “Poker Face,” changing the lyrics to make it more library-centered. Check it out on YouTube now.

GAGA STANDS UP FOR HER FANS
Lady Gaga performed in Manchester, England last night, and there was a little pre-show drama. A fan wrote to the pop star on Twitter, saying that security at Manchester Evening News Arena were not letting people in with coke cans tied up in their hair as a tribute to Gaga. She wrote that she was “outraged” and later tweeted that “security has been reprimanded for censoring little monster freedom” and that people should wear them proud.

USHER SECURES POSITION ON TOP 40 LATIN CHART
Usher has the ability to cross genres. Billboard.com reports the “Papers” singer has just entered the Latin Pop Songs chart with his new single “OMG” featuring will.i.am. The crooner is currently holding down the number 38 position. He’s experienced similar success with 2005’s “Caught Up,” which came in at number 36. In related news, Usher’s Raymond V Raymond album has claimed the number five position on the Billboard 200 chart. To date, the disc has sold over 756-thousand units in over nine weeks <WM>
MARIAH CAREY IS PREGNANT?
RadarOnline.com reports Mariah Carey is pregnant. Rumors began to swirl when the singer mysteriously backed out of Tyler Perry’s new film and it looks like Mi Mi is expecting her first child with husband Nick Cannon. A source told the site, “They are both very excited and very happy. Mariah and Nick want to keep the pregnancy quiet as long as they can.” The news comes just days after Carey’s rep previously said in a statement, “I’m not at liberty to discuss Mariah’s personal life at this time.” The couple has not yet confirmed or denied the reports.
CHRISTINA MILIAN SPEAKS ON MOTHERHOOD
During an interview with Latina magazine, Christina Milian opened up about her new life as a first-time mother and her relationship with The Dream. The “Dip It Low” signer stated, “There’s a lot more responsibility, and there’s a lot more maturity. You take things differently when you’re married.” She added, “This is the first time that I’ve moved in with someone: starting a house together, shopping, building new things. And the day-to-day is just great.” She is also happy she didn’t “question” if she was ready to be a mom and is proud to have a “beautiful daughter” named Violet.
DRAKE NOT UPSET WITH ALBUM LEAK
According to his official Twitter page, Drake is not stressing over the fact that his Thank Me Later album has reportedly leaked. The “Fireworks” rapper tweeted, “I gave away free music for music, so we’re good over here…just allow it to be the soundtrack to your summer and enjoy! DR DRE CROWNED BEST PRODUCER OF ALL TIME
Vibe.com reportedly polled hip hop fans to find out who will top their Greatest Producer of All-Time list. With over 62-percent of the votes, Dr Dre managed to beat out DJ Premier and other notable hitmakers like Scott Storch, the Neptunes, Lil Jon, Kanye West and more. After learning the news, Dre told Vibe, “That s**t is incredible. I’m a humble person and I would’ve never expected that, seriously.” He added, “I just go in the studio. I try to do my thing to the best of my ability.” The hitmaker’s long-awaited Detox album will arrive this fall.

SWIFT SCHEDULES 13 HOUR MEET-AND-GREET
Taylor Swift has scheduled a 13-hour meet-and-greet session on June 13th during the CMA Music Festival. Taylor will spend the day at the Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville and will perform a short acoustic set around 2 PM. This will be her only performance during the CMA Music Festival. The event is free and open to the public. The singer said, “My favorite thing about CMA Music Fest has always been getting to spend time with the fans, so this year I wanted to figure out a way to meet as many of them as possible.” She added, “Thirteen is my lucky number, and the 13th is during Music Fest, so I think spending 13 hours that day with my fans is going to be amazing!”
LEONA LEWIS ALMOST GET HURT…AGAIN!
Leona Lewis just can’t catch a break. The latest scary incident involving the “Bleeding Love” singer has to do with an open elevator shaft. According to British paper The Sun, the pop star was supposed to take an elevator up to the stage during a recent performance, but it malfunctioned and was still down a couple of feet when she went to step on it, causing her to take a nasty pill. She said that it was during a part of the show when the lights were off, “so it didn’t affect the show and none of the audience saw anything.” She also said she was “lucky not to get injured,” but that she “got a shock and had to be rescued.”
P!NK SINGS SONG SHE WROTE FOR LAMBERT
P!nk kicked off her European tour in Germany on Monday, and the fans in attendance got to hear a special tune performed by the pop star. The “So What” singer sang the song that she wrote for Adam Lambert, his hit single “Whataya Want From Me.” Head to YouTube to hear he take on the tune.

Adam Lambert has a suggestion for fans who like to buy him gifts. Gwen Stefani is a lot of things, but apparently a cook isn’t one of them. The No Doubt singer told Britain’s InStyle magazine that all she can do is put “toast in the toaster,” and that it’s her husband, Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, that “cooks every day,” and that she’s “really lucky.”
JOHN MAYER HAS TO CANCEL SHOWS
John Mayer has had to cancel the last few shows on his European Battle Studies tour. According to a post on his official website, the singer-songwriter was forced to scrap his show Monday in Copenhagen due to illness, and eventually had to make the call to cancel the rest of the trek and return back to the U-S to get treated. There were no details as to how he got sick, but JohnMayer.com says that “a full recovery is expected under a doctor’s supervision.”

According to PerezHilton.com, Rihanna might be the newest face of Dolce & Gabbana. A source revealed that the high fashion company has noticed RiRi “rocking their leopard print mini skirts and tops, and they are loving it. Bosses are eyeing her up for lucrative campaigns as she’s got that rocky edge to her.” Nothing is confirmed just yet but we’ll keep you posted.

ANNIE LENNOX NAMED AMBASSADOR
Annie Lennox is now a spokesperson for the U-N agency fighting HIV and AIDS. According to the Associated Press, as a goodwill ambassador for UNAIDS, the singer pledged to address the “daily brutality faced by millions of women and girls” suffering from the disease. Lennox has been raising awareness about AIDS for years.

Thanks to the Justin Bieber craze, talented young male musicians are being signed by labels and cultivated by music executives. First there was Greyson Chance, who just signed to Ellen DeGeneres’ new label, and next up is 13-year-old Cody Simpson. Simpson is from Australia and signed to Atlantic. COLDPLAY STAR IN SLASHER FILM
Chris Martin is married to a movie star, but did you know the Coldplay singer can do some acting himself? Martin and bandmate Jonny Buckland appear in a low-budget slasher film, aptly titled Slashed and made by Irish band Ash. Fans can view part of the film right now at Coldplay.com, where they’ll also find an interview with Ash frontman Tim Wheeler about the project.
