JUST DANCE VOL 3!

Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Taio Cruz, Ludacris and others will be featured on a new dance compilation titled Just Dance Vol. 3.   The album is a collection of rare and hard-to-find remixes of popular songs.   It will be released on June 8th.  

SONGS: Just Dance Vol. 3 features remixes of “H.A.T.E.U” from Mariah Carey, Rihanna’s “Hard” featuring Jeezy; Ludacris’s “How Low,” Taio Cruz’s “Break Your Heart” featuring Ludacris and more.  

LADY ANTEBELLUM TO PERFORM FREE CONCERT

Lady Antebellum will perform a free concert on September 1st in Central, New York at the New York State Fairgrounds. Eli Young Band and Blues Traveler, along with classic rock bands Blue Oyster Cult and Kansas, will open for Lady A.  

RIHANNA FALLS ON STAGE AGAIN

During a show for her Last Girl On Earth tour in the U-K, Rihanna lost her footing while coming down several stairs on stage. The singer was slowly walking out for the opening of her “Te Amo” song when she fell. However, like a true professional, Ri Ri jumped back up and continued with the routine as if it never even happened. This marks Rihanna’s second fall in less than a month during her Last Girl On Earth outing. You can check out her slip at YouTube now.

IS GWEN PREGNANT?

Is Gwen Stefani pregnant with her third child?   A source has told OK! magazine that the No Doubt frontwoman and husband Gavin Rossdale are expecting a new baby, and that Gwen is having a “really rough time” due to morning sickness.   The couple is already parents to Kingston and Zuma, who are three and 19-months respectively.

ROB THOMAS HAS AN IDEA FOR HIS SHOWS

GAGA SINGING SIXTH GRADER BECOMES A STAR

AMERICAN HI-FI PREP NEW ALBUM

American Hi-Fi’s new album, Fight The Frequency, will be released on August 17th.   The album is the follow-up to 2005’s Hearts On Parade and was produced by singer/guitarist Stacy Jones and recorded at his L-A studio, The Deathstar.   The first single, “Lost,” will make its radio debut on Monday.   The band is shooting a video for the song with director Chris Appelbaum in Los Angeles next week.   The group is best known for their debut single, “Flavor of the Weak,” which peaked at number 41 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart back in 2001.

The band has announced that all four of them are together in a studio in Hollywood and are starting the recording process for their first batch of new songs for their upcoming album. CRAIG DAVID TO HOST AUSTRALIAN TV SHOW

Craig David is taking a brief break from music to host an Australian TV program called The Morning Show.   According to SingersRoom.com, David is replacing regular host Larry Emdur, who will go on vacation next week.  

MAXWELL TAPS MELANIE, ERYKAH FOR TOUR

Maxwell has reportedly extended his U-S summer tour with Jill Scott by adding 13 more dates and new guest performers. The “Fistful Of Tears” singer has invited Erykah Badu and Melanie Fiona to be a part of his R&B showcase. The new acts are expected to participate on selected tour dates. MARY J BLIGE TO STAR IN NINA SIMONE MOVIE

According to Variety.com, Mary J Blige is expected to star in an upcoming biopic about Nina Simone. The Queen of Hip Hop Soul will portray the legendary jazz singer and will begin shooting the film this September in France. The movie reportedly cost ten-million dollars to make and will be called Nina.

BRET MICHAELS TO RESUME TOUR ON MAY 28TH

Amazingly, it seems that just weeks after suffering a brain hemorrhage, Bret Michaels is scheduled to perform on May 28th in Biloxi, Mississippi.   According to Biloxi’s Sun Herald, the Poison singer’s solo tour is set to resume at the city’s Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.   It will be Bret’s first gig since the hemorrhage and folks at the venue are pretty excited saying, “He’s been coming to us since 2007, and he’s come back every year.   We’re excited he’s in good health and that he’s starting his comeback tour with us.”   Learn more at SunHerald.com.
