Emblem/Atlantic recording artist Rob Thomas has announced plans for a very special summer tour. The dates benefit the Sidewalk Angels Foundation, the non-profit organization founded by Thomas and his wife Marisol to work hand in hand with charities across America to address social issues for humans and animals alike.
The “Sidewalk Angels Foundation — Summer 2010 Tour” offers a rare and exciting opportunity to catch the multiple Grammy Award-winning superstar performing as a trio in more intimate settings than usual, playing a career-spanning set. “It’s a chance for me, as a songwriter, to really highlight lyric and melody and to create different versions of songs that I’ve been playing for years,” says Thomas. “We’ll be doing my solo stuff, Matchbox Twenty songs, and covers. It will be a real ‘Storytellers’ kind of vibe.”
The dates begin Thursday, July 15th at Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario, Canada and then continue through late August. For details and ticket information, please visit: www.robthomasmusic.com and www.sidewalkangelsfoundation.com.
