DAUGHTRY IS NUMBER ONE

Daughtry will debut at the number one spot on the Billboard 200 album chart as their sophomore album, Leave This Town, sold over 269-thousand units, according to Nielsen Soundscan.   For Daughtry, the new album marks his second number one on the chart.   Maxwell’s Blacksummers’night falls from the top spot to number two, the Hannah Montana 3 soundtrack falls one spot to number three and the compilation album Now 31 drops to number four.   The Black Eyed Peas hold steady at number five for the third straight week with The E.N.D.   Debuting at number six is Horehound, the first album from Jack White’s new supergroup The Dead Weather.   Joe claims his fourth top ten album and second in less than a year as Signature arrives at number seven. Twista’s new album, Category F5, slides to number eight while Taylor Swift falls one spot to number nine with Fearless.   The Kings of Leon round out the top ten, climbing four spots to number 10 with Only By The Night.
