That’s where it all started for Del Marquis, designer, Scissor Sisters guitarist and burgeoning solo artist. Sure, he loved his instrument at first — but not because of the sound.
Rather its form was the fetching part. Bewitched by the guitar’s design, but ultimately won over by the beauty of chords and such, Del Marquis would tour the world twice over, and sell in excess of 4 million albums with the award-winning Sisters. But he needed to do more. Moved to create a pop album of his own, one that was unafraid to delve into darker themes, Marquis would launch a far-reaching project — a multi-media initiative aided by the folks at Embryoroom, and comprised of countless pieces of music, film, and more.
