This competition features 100 American-born DJs that DJ Times Editors hand selected and fans vote on through www.americasbestdj.net. It’s really cool because this competition does a lot to bring dance music fans together as opposed to bringing them apart. There are so many different dance music sub-genres and you’ll see that there is a diverse lot of nominees from people like Christopher Lawrence, Grandmaster Flash, Moby, Peanut Butter Wolf, Steve Aoki, Z-Trip, DJ Shadow, Girl Talk, Jeff Mills and many more. This is really a great way for young people to learn about the diverse talent of American DJs.
