MTV News just caught wind that Kelis has filed for divorce from Nas citing verbal abuse and infidelity as the reasons. The couple is expecting their first child together, however, a rep has confirmed to Vibe.com that the “Milkshake” singer has had it. Since they’ve been married for over three years, many have viewed the two as hip hop’s cutest pair, alongside Beyonce and Jay-Z. At press time, reps from Kelis’ camp requested “the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time.”
