Hannah Montana: The Movie soundtrack reaches the top spot on the Billboard album chart for the first time since it was released four weeks ago.   According to Nielsen SoundScan, the album leaped to number one even though it sold 63-thousand less copies this week.   The soundtracks trip to number one comes behind the film’s 12.7-million dollar take during its second go at the weekend box office.   It marks the first soundtrack to top the album chart this year. According to Billboard, last year, three film soundtracks topped the chart: Juno, Mamma Mia! and Twilight. It is also the third soundtrack from the Hannah Montana franchise to reach the top of the chart, after the first and second volumes of the TV show’s soundtracks hit number one in 2006 and 2007.
