On the night of Easter, the New York City trio delighted their fans to a “not-so-secret” show at Santo’s Party House in Manhattan.
The band played for a long energetic and outrageous hour, performing a mix of the old (Maps, Art Star, Gold Lion) and the new (Zero, Skeletons, Dull Life) that did not dissappoint, and even a cover of “Human Fly” by Cramps.
Beginning with “Heads Will Roll”, the second track off of their new album “It’s Blitz!”, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs soared through the set, and ended with “Y-Control”. However, there was no way that a band who hasn’t performed at a club for their fans in almost two years wouldn’t do an encore. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs performed a three-song encore, and featured “Turn Into”, “Date With The Night”, and finally, “Poor Song”.
