LIGHTS CROWNED CANADA’S BEST NEW ARTIST

Canadian songstress LIGHTS was crowned Canada’s best new artist at the 2009 JUNO Awards, which took place in Vancouver, BC, on Sunday, March 29th.   The 21-year-old multi-instrumentalist won the prestigious New Artist of the Year award, joining past winners Feist, Avril Lavigne, and Michael Bublé.
