CAT STEVENS TO PLAY FIRST U-S SHOWS IN 33 YEARS

It’s been over 33 years since Cat Stevens has performed in the United States, but that streak is about to end.   The singer, now known as Yusuf Islam, will play a series of shows in May in New York and L-A.   There are no details yet on the concerts but the tour will coincide with the May 5th release of Yusuf’s latest album, Roadsinger.   The set includes songs from his upcoming Moonshadow musical and features guest vocals from James Morrison, Michelle Branch and Hank Williams’ granddaughter, Holly.
