The Killers announced on Monday that they filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against their former manager Braden Merrick in Federal Court in Las Vegas. The band said that the federal case charges Merrick with “breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and unjust enrichment.” The group claims that the manager abandoned them at a crucial time in their career. In a statement, The Killers explained they learned that Merrick was secretly working for and being paid by their record label. The Killers said they “look forward to proving their case before a jury of their peers in Las Vegas.”
