Nashville-based singer-songwriter Jeremy Lister has been busy touring in recent months as part of the Ten Out of Tenn collective; writing and recording songs for his Warner Bros. Records debut album; and most recently, co-authoring a new song with fellow Tennessean Gabe Dixon.
The anthemic “Music Calls Us Home,” was written specifically for the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau’s new marketing campaign which is presently leading the city’s promotional charge. A video for the song has been filmed and is currently airing on the GAC (Great American Country) Network. An abbreviated version of the clip debuted as a commercial during the Music City Bowl on ESPN.
Jeremy Lister’s debut Warner Bros. Records EP, JUST ONE DAY –available now– features four songs written and recorded by Lister: “Just One Day;” “Fit” (produced by Greg Wells and mixed by Michael Brauer); as well as “Hostage;” and “Ready To Fall.”
Since then, the Mississippi-native Lister has been warmly embraced by his adopted home of Nashville where he packs venues wherever and whenever he performs with his band. Local daily newspaper The Tennessean raved:“This super-likeable artist has one of the smoothest voices in Nashville’s pop/rock scene.”
