DAN EVANS GOES FROM WEIGHT LOSS TO MUSIC

danafter1.JPGYou may already know that Dan Evans appeared on THE BIGGEST LOSER COUPLES, SEASON FIVE, but there is much more to his story.

The Frankfort, IL native took the self esteem boost he got from his 136-pound weight loss on the program and invested it in his longtime dream of becoming a country music artist.   His dream-realized – his debut release on Executive Music Group (EMG) – GOIN’ ALL OUT is due in stores on September 30, 2008.

Distributed by Fontana/Universal, GOIN’ ALL OUT was co-written by Dan, with ASCAP’s 2002 Songwriter of the Year, Stephanie Lewis.   Acclaimed songwriter and producer, Russ DeSalvo and guitarist/composer Jim Kimball co-produced and collaborated to put together the album.   Russ has written, arranged and produced for Adult Contemporary Artists such as Celine Dion and has also had a #1 Christian hit with Natalie Grant – “Keep on Shining” and more.   Kimball, a noted engineer, has collaborated with luminaries such as Toby Keith, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw and NSYNC.

Dan is an inspiration to the downtrodden with his amazing personal victory over insecurities and obesity.   He hopes to inspire even more people through his music.   “Since my time on the show, I have met so many people who watched me every week and told me how much my determination inspired them,” says Dan. “I’m honored to be an encouragement to people and my goal as an artist is to remind every audience I encounter that personal issues and insecurities should never keep you from pursuing the things you love. I have my life back now and I want to inspire oth ¬ers who have similar dreams, but lack the motivation to achieve them.”
