Ready for some mighty morphing power pop? New York based band Vine House has just [self] released their debut CD dubbed Young Regret. Singer/songwriter Mark Stancato has brought his vision to life after the breakup of his former band Exit 8. If power pop is your persuasion, then Vine House has the sound for you.
While breaking from the originally planned political and social base for the album, Young Regret is not your average pop album with shallow themes. Songs like “Coffee Break” and “Killer on the Road” shape Young Regret into an introspective look at the life choices Mark has made on his road to fulfilling his musical dreams.
Mark Stancato’s last band Exit 8 had experience at some of New York’s famed venues like The Mercury Lounge, Arlene’s Grocery, and Sin-e; as well as radio play on XM’s unsigned channel. With the help of Rainmaker Public Relations, Stancato is sure to lead Vine House to the pinnacle of the NYC power pop scene.
Look for more music from this power pop trio as they make their way through the indie music market. In the mean time, check out their website www.VineHouseMusic.com to listen to the entire album which has been conveniently posted for all to hear.
