Yet another corporate manufactured pop album. Lets start with the production, fake drum loops, I guess it's dance music so it's acceptable, but just like every other pop song it's the same thing, over and over and over and over and...you get the picture. The instrumentation, does anyone actually play an instrument anymore or is it all MIDI generated? (MIDI stands for Music Instrument Digital Interface, basically means the computer does everything). The Vocals, lets start with I can audibly hear the Autotune program being used, that means her vocals were so bad the computer program had to fix her voice, and wow they even did more vocal cover up with a phaser effect and then doubled everything up electronically. Next, lets get to the lyrics...OK we understand, your bossy, but the song doesn't actually tell a story, it's just like the drum loops, the same thing over and over again. I hope Lindsay actually gets to see this critique because I need to end it with a few comments. I think Lindsay unlike other Pop stars actually has talent, but Lindsay you need to break the mold, stop being want a bunch of A&R reps are pushing you to be and do something different and honest. Basically music right now is dead, it's stagnant, every genre needs a change. Now I'm sure I'm going to get a bunch of young kids coming to the defense of Lindsay. Don't misunderstand me, I think Lindsay is talented, but she has people pushing her to be something she isn't, she needs to be true to herself and not just release a song that has no texture or soul behind it.
