Timing in life is everything. This interview could not have come at a better time. Days after we conducted this interview our guest, Gangstagrass was nominated for an Emmy for “Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music.” I have always enjoyed when musicians merge genres. It is really amazing how Gangstagrass blends bluegrass and hip hop so naturally, I was really intrigued by the music they are creating. These guys are straight up rockers and they do not pretend to be anything else. I have not put their new album ‘Deuce’ down since I got it. I have been waiting for the perfect time to unleash this feature story with an artist that inspires and excites me through his music & philosophies. It is my pleasure to introduce Damon The Gypsy. Damon has been very busy this year as he releases a gypsy trilogy of music from the past & present. The trilogy represents Damon over three decades of life and how he grows as a musician and as a person. With so much manufactured noise on the airwaves it’s nice to know certain musicians still play from the heart!
