No fiction here, this group formerly known as Santa’s Boyfriend that now goes by Fiction Plane is for real! Fronted by singer/bassist, Joe Sumner along with Seton Daunt on lead guitar and Pete Wilhoit on drums—these guys came to Bluebird Nightclub in Bloomington, IN on Sunday, Aug. 10 and just ROCKED the joint! It was a pleasure to listen to and a treat to see live.

Street Drum Corps are known as the punk rock Stomp. The trio put on percussive spectacles featuring a cacophonous collection of traditional drums and non traditional percussion like buckets and garbage cans. This makes for wildly innovative noise making - banging a fire extinguisher against a trash can, followed by layered drum machine samples and bucket slapping rhythmic displays.

West Palm Beach, FL - August 3, 2008 - The gates to Cruzan Amphitheater opened at 1:30 PM, a half hour late on account of an MTV video premiere being filmed that morning. It was a very hot day until rain swept through and cooled things off. The rest of the day was pleasant and breezy. There was a wide age range with many fans young and old; there were a few mothers with their 4 or 5 year olds.
