GINGER REPORTS FROM THE FUN FUN FUN FESTIVAL 08
November 14, 2008
Well rested and sober as a baby, it seems I have made a full recuperation from my 2nd year at the 3rd annual Fun Fun Fun Fest, held in the beautiful Waterloo Park, Austin Texas. Fun X3 Fest is one of many music festivals that happen year around in these parts, but this festival has truly done things the right way. What is the right way, you ask?
Panic at the Disco, Dashboard Confessional Play Miami
November 12, 2008
There was an exotic crowd gathered, ranging from a girl in a taco suit, to another girl in blinking bunny ears, and a 60-70 year old man, singing every word to Panic at the Disco. But I suppose anything would have been better than an arena filled with the “emo” crowd that Panic attracted when they got their big start. Read more
Skope Raps with Immortal Technique
November 11, 2008
Immortal Technique is a master lyricist who isn’t afraid to express the truth in his rhymes. October 30, 2008
Seven years ago, Blue Mountain seemed to be in a healthy place. The band had gone through hell and come out swinging with Roots, an album of traditional country and blues covers, lovingly delivered by true fans of the music.

BACK DOOR SLAM PACKS ROCK POWER
October 13, 2008
It is no wonder that Gov’t Mule picked Back Door Slam as part of their upcoming tour, starting on Halloween night at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston, MA. These young blues rockers from the Isle of Man, a tiny island between England and Ireland, have the chops to hold a stage with the likes of Warren Haynes and his fellow Southern rock veterans.
