On the eve of their first ever tour together,Rickie Lee Jones & Madeleine Peyroux have released a politically charged video that addresses women’s rights along with a host of human rights issues to accompany their newly recorded cover of David Essex’s “Rock On”.
Jones’ note when the video was posted read as follows: “Standing up to Intimidation, women march. Offering respect in a disrespectful climate, women fight for their rights, living, and rising in the dangerous world in which we live. this song is a tribute to US!”
