Lisa Mitchell is pleased to announced details of a brand new track Warhol through Play It Again Sam. Her third album, Warriors, is her first via Play It Again Sam. It will be available digitally October 14thwith a physical release set for the new year,

Singer-songwriter, Mitchell has just announced a series of live shows in Europe, as well as in her native Australia, having guested on Grouplove’s recent shows down under which pre-empts her forthcoming album Warriors. Overseen by producer Eric J Dubowsky (Chet Faker, Flume), Warhol follows previous track The Boys and is once again accompanied by visuals that portray Mitchell’s charm and elegant fragility.

The track as Mitchell herself explains; “was about something that happened in my personal life and I’m so happy to finally release it. At The time of writing, I felt betrayed by something and was still fuming and at a loss when I wrote the words. I kept hearing Warhol through the melody I was mumbling…It’s as if I was calling out to Andy Warhol , as if he were a dear confidante…A world to find refuge in…”
