HEAR A NEW TRACK FROM DOWSING ‘HOLD’

Dowsing and Ratboys are two bands from Chicago comprised of good friends who also share a band member. This split release features two tracks from each band and will be released on September 9th to coincide with two months of touring throughout the US and Europe starting in September.

GOJIRA DEBUT NEW VIDEO FOR ‘THE SHOOTING STAR’

Roadrunner Records’ group Gojira have debuted their official music video for ‘The Shooting Star.’ Taken from their acclaimed chart topping new album MAGMA, ‘The Shooting Star’ and its music video are streaming now on Gojira’s official YouTube channel. The mind-bending video was directed and animated by Markus Hofko (www.bowbowbow.co).

LEE BRICE, JUSTIN MOORE ANNOUNCE 2017 CO-HEADLINE ‘AMERICAN MADE’ TOUR

Lee Brice and Justin Moore, two of country music’s most dynamic performers, will ring in 2017 with their co-headlined “American Made” tour kicking off January 12 in Indianapolis at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse. William Michael Morgan and Brett Young round out the tour as direct support. (Morgan and Young’s specific markets are noted in the tour schedule below.)

Moore released his fourth album ‘Kinda Don’t Care’ — his third #1 debut on the Country charts — in August. The lead single from the album, the Top-5 and-rising “You Look Like I Need a Drink,” lines up right alongside his chart-topping Platinum and Gold-certified hits “Small Town USA,” “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away,” “Point at You” and “Lettin’ The Night Roll.” This also follows two Gold-certified albums ‘Justin Moore’ and ‘Outlaws Like Me.’ He debuted music from his new album last month with a live performance during the Fox & Friends’ All-American Summer Concert Series.

July Talk reveal video for the new single ‘Beck + Call’

Toronto five-piece July Talk follow their astounding sold out London headline show last week with the release of their brand new single, ‘Beck + Call’, featuring Inuit throat singer Tanya Tagaq, taken from the new album Touch.

The video for the track premiered on The FADER yesterday who called it an “exhilarating video” and described it as, “a black-and-white [clip] which places the band’s Leah Fay and Peter Dreimanis in a factory setting as they contort their bodies to represent the emotions of a corrupted relationship, with a bit of telekinetic battling thrown in.”

Andy Mineo Serves Deaf Community With Innovative Music Video “Hear My Heart”

Hip Hop artist and lyrical powerhouse, Andy Mineo, releases the highly anticipated music video for “Hear My Heart,” the second single off his newest album Uncomfortable which debuted on the Billboard album charts as the #1 Independent, #3 Hip Hop and #10 Top 200 album in the country upon release via Reach Records.

“Hear My Heart” is a personal record for Mineo, a tribute to his big sister Grace who is deaf. “It’s just an honest record of me essentially apologizing to her for having never learned sign language growing up,” he explains openly during an interview with hip-hop culture icon and veteran Sway Calloway of Sirius XM’s Sway In The Morning. “We’re putting together a music video,” he continues, “I want to see sounds. So we’re really working on something creative and special for her because I really just want her to know that I love her and I’m sorry.”

COLLAPSING SCENERY SHARES “COMMON CAUSE”

Collapsing Scenery have shared the video for their track “Common Cause” via Noisey. The track is off their upcoming EP, God’s Least Favorite, out September 30th in the U.S. on Metropolitan Indian. The video was directed by Alix Vernet and Paige Elkington, and shot in a 70s hotel in downtown LA. “In terms of movement, the video is formally inspired by trauma response (what bodies look like when responding to an earthquake, for example), protests, and the way performers look while getting ready in the mirror,” explains director Alix Vernet, “We’ve also been looking at Pina Bausch’s Blaubart and Nijinska’s Les Noces as inspiration for group vs individual dynamics.”

The Nursery Premieres “Everybody’s Famous” via IMPOSE

The Nursery was started by Alex Pulec (ex-Ruby Spirit) and Victor Ess in 2013 who both attended and quit York University’s music program together in Toronto, Canada. Inspired by the current post-internet music landscape and a steady diet of early electro, punk and English glam rock records, they quickly began building the pieces of a vibrant set of songs. Richmond indie rock band White Laces announce new album ‘No Floor’, share infectious “Cheese”

White Laces are a band from Richmond, VA. The cassette reissue Sick of Summer combines the band’s first self-titled EP from 2011 with various vinyl-only tracks released before the band’s first proper LP, Moves. All the tracks have been remastered and serve as a reminder of when the band were so loud they were banned from venues due to sheer volume.
