Record label founder. Recording wizard. Power pop maestro. Wyatt Blair is a man of many disciplines. Blair began Lolipop Records out of his parents’ Laguna Beach garage in 2010 with a simple goal of recording his friends and sharing their music with the world. When Wyatt moved the label to Los Angeles in 2012, he inadvertently started a rock ‘n’ roll revolution – spawning an army of sweet-toothed teens with an insatiable appetite for the sugary garage pop sounds of Lolipop bands – most of them discovered by Blair himself.

Due to the recent wild Soberanes Fire in Big Sur we are moving this year’s WOODSIST FEST to Point Reyes, CA.
The State Parks in Big Sur are closing as of today. Sadly, it will simply be unsafe for us to host the fest in Big Sur this year. The new Fest site at Love Field in Point Reyes will be wonderful and ALL attendees are now able to camp on site as part of their ticket purchase. Yes, that is right…on- site camping is now included with your ticket so that option is open to everyone who has a ticket.
Xylouris White “Black Peak”
When Xylouris White recorded their second album, this most intuitive and inquisitive of duos did what comes naturally to them: expanded their horizons. For George Xylouris, the Cretan lute player who partners here with the Dirty Three’s preternaturally fluent Australian drummer Jim White, one aim was to extend a core metaphor of their ruggedly visionary debut album, 2014’s Goats. “Like goats walking in the mountain” is Xylouris’s poetic analogy for their approach: “They may not know the place, but they can walk easily and take risks and feel comfortable. Really, the goats inspired us.”
