Arcadian is the 8th full-length album from Seattle-based electronic-music songwriter/producer Symbion Project aka Kasson Crooker. The British Country Music Association (BCMA) presented themselves to the general public with a stand at the Country 2 Country Festival at the O2, London during the recent festival where tens of thousands of people attended. The idea was to promote British Country music and to let everyone know more about the British Country music scene. Fayetteville, Arkansas indie rock band Brother Moses will release their sophomore EP Legends on August 26th via Missing Piece Records. American Songwriter just premiered the band’s video for “Crazy Eyes” which they called “lighthearted – but slightly morbid.”

Indie-pop duo Cardiknox have shared the official music video for new single “Wild Child” off their debut album Portrait. The video, directed by David Kalani Larkins, reflects the song’s themes of independence and rebelling against the norm, following Cardiknox’s Lonnie Angle and Thomas Dutton “behind-the-scenes” as they make four mini music videos in one. The “Wild Child” video premiered today via Entertainment Weekly, who loves the “chaotic” video with its costume changes, puppets made to look like the band, and even some trips to the dunk tank. TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB today unveil the video for their new song ‘Are We Ready? (Wreck)’. Directed by renowned commercial directors Thunderlips, the video is a nightmarish, barbed comment on consumerism. Beginning as a hyperreal ‘Mad Men’ style 1950’s advert, the video soon descends into the hellish vision of mass consumerism, as prosthetic laden Alex Trimble, Kevin Baird and Sam Halliday begin the unravel, both physically and mentally. The video is the perfect accompaniment to ‘Are We Ready? (Wreck), visualizing Two Door and the so-called “information generation’s” uncomfortable relationship with unavoidable elements of modern life.
FRIEND OR FOE “TRUE”
Richmond-based FRIEND OR FOE releases their new True single today, and in conjunction with the tape’s availability, the namesake track for the single has been unleashed through a premiere at New Noise Magazine.
Flatspot Records will release FRIEND OR FOE’s new Foe EP on August 19th, but today the label issues a limited, pre-release, two-song cassette single. The tape leads off with “True,” the track featuring additional guest vocals by Jimmy Williams of Maximum Penalty, with an exclusive non-EP demo track on the B-side called “Invincible.”

Their debut full-length is a 10-track effort that struts along the intersection of pop and rock with similarities to The Dangerous Summer and PVRIS. Off the debut, the band just released their music video release of “All of You,” which can be viewed below. The track details personal strife within a relationship, the moment it goes toxic, when one person can’t give their whole heart and falls out of love. The band details “Everyone wants to love and be loved and knowing you aren’t receiving 100% of that persona’s efforts takes a mental and physical toll on you.” This track walks the listener through this trying time and hopes to help them through their own process.

Over Independence Day Weekend, Max Styler and Felmax ignited the fireworks with the sizzling trap number “Skyline.” The two budding producers strike a balance between gritty and sweet, chopping up dubstep breakdowns and ethereal flutters for a satiating bass-fueled banger. MAYAENI TO RELEASE ELOCUTION EP
Detroit’s Mayaeni has been embracing soulful rock as long as she can remember. It began when her father, also a musician, started playing her Jimmy Hendrix, Bob Dylan and Chuck Berry records at a very early age. Later wondering why there wasn’t a black female John Mayer or Gary Clark Jr., she has decided to become it herself.
The Roc Nation artist is releasing her new Elocution EP this Friday. “Elocution is the study and practice of oral delivery, including the control of both voice and gesture,” explained Mayaeni. “This is EP is my Elocution.”

Dubbed “Canada’s premiere electronic jazz deconstructionists” by Silent Shout, Saxsyndrum is at the crossroads of live-electronic and experimental-rock music. The Montreal group masterfully integrate processed drums, looped sax and ethereal vocals over sub-bass and deep beats, always delivering an emotionally powerful performance filled with contorted grooves and heady effects. They have recently partnered with Consequence of Sound to premiere their new single “Dawn Breaks” with an accompanying music video.
LA by way of Bermuda producer STEL★LEO has spent the majority of 2016 flexing his prowess over a multitude of genres. First, the 21-year-old scored big on original single “Anxious” that made it’s way to the ears of Beats1 who chose the track as their “Discovered on Apple Music Selection” in June. Next, he followed this up with future-bass cut “Mochi,” a track that This Song Slaps described as a piece filled with “beautiful synth melodies, interesting vocal chopping, and tight basslines.”
